HETS 2022 to Resume Discussing Sustainability in Digital World

This spring, Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum 2022 (KEF-2022) not only contributed to strengthening cooperation between Russia and Asian countries, but also became a starting point in solving important economic problems on sustainable development and transition to a climate-oriented and low-carbon way of life.

Through the year, various forums, conferences and sites have been discussing the issues raised during KEF. Thus, the III Annual International Scientific and Research Forum on the Problems of Sustainable Development in the Digital World: Human. Economy. Technology. SocietyHETS 2022 (a satellite-partner of KEF) will cover the raised issues. The event will be held on-line and off-line at the premises of Siberian Federal University and co-organizers of the event. Date of the event: 20-22 October 2022.

For the second year, the coorganisers of the event are universities and organizations from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China and Chile, BRICS Industrial Association, Chinese High-Tech Association, Research Support Association, Association of Bioengineering Clusters. Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation has become a reliable partner of the Forum.

The event intends to strengthen international scientific cooperation and scientific ties among scholars and experts from different countries, and integrate the research results into the global scientific knowledge. HETS 2022 covers these aims through 18 sections on related topics, i.e. Digital Ecosystem Models; Regions and Territories in the Global Picture; Environmental Sustainability and Security; Legal Basis for Digital Sustainable Development of Ecosystem; Values and Business Ethics in an Era of Global Change; Low-Carbon Economy: Challenges and Prospects; Cooperation between the Countries partners of BRICS, SCO, and EAEU to in terms of Sustainable Development in Digital Transformation; Methods and Means of Artificial Intelligence in the Digitalization and Robotization of Production; etc.

“The issues of sustainable development in the new digital world, the use of natural resources and climate stabilizing are among the key topics for the university. This is especially true within the establishment of a world-class climate research and education centre on the basis of the Siberian Federal University. What is more, the ideas of reaching carbon balance and raising public awareness on green agenda among the younger generation have formed the basis of one of the strategic projects of Priority 2030 program, in which SibFU is a current member. Therefore, I believe that HETS 2022 will become an effective platform for discussing the initiatives raised at Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum,” noted Dr Maksim Rumiantsev, SibFU rector, chair of HETS 2022 organizational committee.

The position of the chairman of research committee was assigned to Dr Vladimir Shaydurov, professor, doctor of sciences in physics and mathematics, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the Mathematical Modelling research direction of Krasnoyarsk Scientific Centre SB RAS (Krasnoyarsk, Russia), dean of the School of Management, Science, and Engineering of the University of Finance and Economics (Tianjin, China), scientific supervisor of Economics and Management REC within Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk, Russia).

The deadline for submissions and registration is 15 October 2022.
All approved and presented (as poster or video presentations) articles and abstracts will be included in conference proceedings and leading citation databases. Scientific articles selected by the Organizing Committee will be submitted to be published in peer-reviewed journals.

The HETS 2022 program, posters and video presentations will be published on the forum web-site.
